We are a UK commercial solar installer with a specific focus on gyms, health clubs and the wider leisure and hospitality sector. Over more than a decade in commercial PV we have learned that a gym is not a warehouse with treadmills in it. The load profile is different, the trading day is longer, the wet-side plant on pool and spa sites is its own engineering problem, and the way a club markets itself to members means a solar array has to look right as well as perform. That is the work we do, and it is why we built a site dedicated to it.
Why we specialise in gyms
Gyms are one of the best fits for solar in the whole commercial market, and most generalist installers do not size for that. A club runs air handling, ventilation, lighting and changing-room hot water from early morning to late evening, exactly the hours panels generate. Add a pool, spa or sauna and the all-day baseload climbs higher still. That means a properly sized club self-consumes the great majority of its generation, displacing power bought at full commercial tariff. We size from your half-hourly meter data so the array matches your real demand curve, including the growth in EV charging, rather than just filling the roof. Getting that right is the difference between a 5-year payback and a 9-year one.
How we work
We are independent of any single panel or inverter manufacturer, so we specify the hardware that suits your roof and your budget, not whatever we are tied to sell. Every proposal is model-driven: we run your meter data through a yield model, set out the generation forecast, self-consumption ratio, simple payback and internal rate of return, and show the figures both before and after capital-allowance tax relief. If the numbers do not work for your site, we tell you, and we would rather walk away from a project that will not deliver than put our name on it. We handle the structural survey, the G99 grid-connection application, planning where it is needed, and any grant paperwork that applies, so the club is not left chasing the parts.
Accreditations you can verify
We hold the certifications a serious commercial installer should hold, and every one can be checked against the issuing body. We are MCS-certified for commercial work, which is what makes your install eligible for the Smart Export Guarantee. We are NICEIC-registered for the electrical work, members of RECC, and TrustMark-licensed. We carry ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 for quality, environment and health and safety, the standards that enterprise and franchisor procurement teams increasingly ask for. Our workmanship is covered by a 10-year insurance-backed warranty, so the cover stands even in the unlikely event the installing company does not, and panels and inverters carry their own manufacturer performance warranties on top.
What makes us different
The commercial solar market has its share of firms that quote a system off a rooftop photo, oversize the array to inflate the price, and disappear once the panels are up. We do the opposite. We start from your data, size for self-consumption rather than roof area, price transparently, and stay involved through commissioning, monitoring and annual maintenance. For multi-site operators we design one repeatable template, rooftop plus optional carport plus EV charging, and roll it across the estate with a single monitoring dashboard and portfolio pricing. For listed and conservation-area buildings, common with older clubhouses and converted-warehouse studios, we engage the conservation officer early and use discreet designs. The result is a club that cuts its largest controllable cost, strengthens its sustainability story with members, and moves toward the EPC standards that leased commercial property will need by 2030.
